This calculator measures the elapsed calendar-day difference between the two selected dates. The same date produces 0 days; the next date produces 1 day.
Why use date-only math?
The calculation uses date values rather than local clock hours, so daylight-saving changes do not accidentally add or remove a day from the answer.
