Why arrival times are easy to miscalculate
Long-distance travel combines elapsed duration with time-zone changes and sometimes a change of calendar date. This tool first converts the departure to a real instant, adds the duration, and then displays that instant in the destination time zone.
What duration should you enter?
Enter the total elapsed travel time you want included. For an airline itinerary, that can be the scheduled flight duration; for a multi-leg trip, use the total time from the first departure to the final arrival if you want connections included.
